Role Description This is a full-time Senior Associate Attorney position, based on-site in Newark, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include case analysis, drafting legal documents, attending client meetings, and representing clients in negotiations or court proceedings. Qualifications • 4-7 year associate attorney with experience defending bodily-injury and property damage claims arising out of complex casualty, product liability, construction defect, New York Labor Law, and general liability matters. • Candidate must be admitted to practice in NY and NJ. • Able to handle cases independently with experience defending and taking depositions, arguing motions, and participation in trials. • Proficiency in Research and the ability to analyze legal precedents and draft detailed legal briefs. • Effective Negotiation skills to advocate for and represent client interests in disputes or settlements. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. • Experience managing multiple cases simultaneously and collaborating effectively with legal teams.
