This is an exciting time to be joining as we upgrade our technology and prepare to move to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Benbrook, Texas.    We are hiring for both Full-time and Part-time positions! When you join our talented and diverse team, you are joining a heritage brand with more than 100 years of expertise as we enter our next chapter.    ABOUT THE POSITION: FORKLIFT OPERATOR  Our Forklift Operators play a critical role in both inbound and outbound operations by safely operating lifts including stand-up/sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES    Inbound (Receiving & Put-Away)  • Unload inbound trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks  • Inspect and verify incoming product quantities and conditions  • Label and scan inventory using RF devices  • Transport pallets to designated put-away locations  • Safely place goods in racking using reach or sit-down forklifts    Outbound (Replenishment, Picking, Packing & Shipping)  • Perform pallet replenishment  • Retrieve and transport pallets  • Accurately pick pallets or cartons  • Stage completed store orders  • Load outbound trucks per loading plans    Forklift Specific Responsibilities  • Operate forklifts and other lift equipment per OSHA standards  • Conduct daily forklift inspections  • Navigate tight aisles and racking safely  • Stack and maneuver pallets at varying heights  • Follow all equipment and safety protocols    Quality Control & Housekeeping  • Check for damage or labeling issues  • Maintain a clean workspace  • Report inventory discrepancies or equipment issues    REQUIREMENTS  • High school Diploma/GED preferred  • Valid forklift certification   • 1 year of forklift or DC equipment experience  • Ability to operate equipment safely at heights  • Experience using WMS and RF scanners  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand 8+ hours  • Reliable attendance and transportation  • Willingness to perform non-forklift duties  TLF offers great benefits and a competitive compensation package:  * Air conditioned/climate-controlled warehouse; moving soon to a brand-new location. * Competitive compensation – strong pay for performance culture. * Regular Incentive Bonus Programs – based on performance and productivity, a great way to grow your pay! * Paid Holidays – 10 paid holidays available on day one of employment.  * Paid Time Off – beginning at 30 days of employment. * Comprehensive health care coverage options: medical, dental, vision plus life and disability insurance * 401(k) Plan – company matched * Employee discounts on our products * And much, much more!   We consider all qualified applicants for employment, including those with Criminal Histories.   To learn more about Tandy Leather, please visit our website: www.tandyleather.com [https://www.tandyleather.com/].    EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY  At Tandy, our diversity is our strength, and we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law.
