Manage and coordinate fleet equipment operations including maintenance, repairs, supplier coordination, invoice management, and support procurement projects.
3+ years related experience, knowledge of DMV policies, MS Office proficiency, preferred SAP EAM experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass drug and physical exams.
Summary Manages forklifts, yard mules, automatic trailers, side-by-side, sweeping machines, reach stackers, and commercial counterbalance forklifts if owned, leased, and/or rental equipment. Including service, order handling, coordination of deliveries, and invoice management, as well as equipment returns. Requesting quotes to the Procurement Department for equipment repairs/modification, supporting projects for new equipment purchase, including supporting the Procurement Department in contract management. Qualification and Experience • Prior knowledge of DMV policies and procedures • 3+ years related experience • Experience in MS-Office Suite. • Experience in SAP EAM (preferred) • High School Diploma or GED • Associate’s degree (preferred) • Good equipment and mechanical knowledge. • Must have a valid driver’s license and be legally able to work in the U.S., pass a drug screen, and a functional capacity examination to guarantee that the abilities are needed to function in the role successfully are adequate. Job Tasks • Fleet coordination, including the management of transition equipment. • Organization of delivery checks when taking over new equipment from suppliers. • Maintenance management and supervision for required inspection dates of owned, leased, and/or rental equipment. • Allocation of the equipment to the respective workshops and fleet checks. • Repair and damage management, coordination of unplanned repairs for the equipment. • Settlement of guarantee and goodwill claims • Technical leadership for the regional point of contacts/suppliers in cooperation with Alfred Talke GmbH & Co. KG • Spare parts management with local suppliers and in coordination with the Procurement Department. • Equipment damage analysis and corrective actions. • Supervision of a workshop for the TALKE USA fleet. • Reporting/controlling/invoice management. • Ensuring spare parts availability to avoid prolonged equipment downtime. • Support projects with technical specs verifications/confirmations. • Building up a master data management in SAP EAM • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
