OVERVIEW Part-time/Permanent Employee Location: Remote, United States As a Full-Stack Developer I, you will develop web services to meet integration requirements, gather and document client and internal business unit needs, and work in a LEMP Stack environment (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and PHP) to design and implement new features and site improvements. You will support and maintain software functionality, ensure compliance with coding and security standards, and collaborate with stakeholders on development and implementation issues. Your role involves analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting problems, and delivering timely resolutions while following best practices in agile software development. You will work with technologies including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, LINQ, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Laravel, ReactJS, Bootstrap3, and Google Maps while maintaining version control and writing unit tests to optimize software performance and usability. The proposed salary range for this position is $28-$40 hourly. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES • * Develop web services and APIs for system integration • Gather and document business requirements from clients and internal teams • Develop cloud native applications and troubleshoot technical problems in both AWS and Azure based cloud environments • Maintain and enhance software functionality while adhering to coding and security standards • Improve company processes and applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. • Develop front-end features using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries like jQuery, ReactJS, PrimeVue, and Bootstrap3 • Collaborate with stakeholders, departments, and customers to resolve implementation issues • Maintain version control using SVN and follow agile development methodologies • Write unit tests, refactor existing code, and optimize query performance for relational databases • Support and document internal tools, software development processes, and best practices • Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions • Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded • Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area • Participate in growth efforts as requested • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction • Complete personal PDP and attend staff meetings and Storytime (with camera on) • Build productive and positive professional relationships with clients within your program • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements • Perform other related duties as assigned KEY QUALIFICATIONS • * Education and Years of Experience: Enrolled in a Computer Science Bachelor's degree program (or equivalent) with 0 - 2 years of experience • Experience in full-stack development with PHP, JavaScript, Python and relational databases • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI • Familiarity with agile development practices, unit testing, and version control systems PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS • * Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Laravel, ReactJS, and Bootstrap3 • Knowledge of web performance optimization, security best practices, and automation • Understanding of cloud technologies and scalable web application architecture • Security+ Certification EXPANSIA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
