Position: Technical Sourcing & Supply Chain Lead (Mission Critical & Power Systems) Location: Magnolia, TX Type: Full-Time Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field • 5–8 years of experience in technical sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing operations • Experience in power generation, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery preferred • Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand engine/genset systems • Knowledge of cost analysis (TCO, should-costing) and supplier negotiations • Familiarity with international logistics and Incoterms Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Technical Sourcing & Supply Chain Lead to drive procurement, supplier management, and assembly oversight for mission-critical power systems. This role acts as a key bridge between global manufacturing teams and US-based assembly partners, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery for high-demand projects. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing • Manage relationships with engine OEMs and component suppliers • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost and performance • Track supplier performance using KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Quality, and Cost Savings Plant & Assembly Oversight • Conduct on-site audits at assembly facilities to ensure adherence to BOM and technical standards • Inspect finished systems for quality, mechanical integrity, and compliance • Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and coordinate with engineering teams Supply Chain & ERP Execution • Manage procure-to-pay cycle including purchase orders and inventory tracking • Coordinate logistics, including international shipments and domestic freight • Ensure timely availability of critical components for production Key Traits • Strong technical and commercial acumen • Hands-on approach with ability to work on shop floors • Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management • Problem-solving mindset in fast-paced environments • Willingness to travel (25–40%) for supplier and site visits
