Responsibilities: • Utilize drafting standards and apply advanced techniques within Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. • Prepare complete technical documentation sets, including layouts, multi-view, detail, and assembly drawings, ensuring databases are accurately maintained. • Establish material requirements and create bills of material to meet production schedules, entering them into product structure systems as needed. • Use mathematical formulas to calculate weights, load capacities, dimensions, and material quantities for product designs. • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve technical issues related to parts, design specifications, and usage. • Verify drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance with internal and industry standards. • Enhance productivity and workflows by learning and leveraging advanced CAD/Inventor capabilities in design processes. Must-Have Skills: • 3+ years hands-on experience with CAD/Inventor. • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related discipline (or minimum 4 years of manufacturing field experience). • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive technical drawings and assembly documentation. • Strong mathematical skills for calculating relevant engineering specifications. • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities for cross-functional collaboration. Nice-to-Have Skills: • 2+ years of experience designing industrial vessels and mixers. • Knowledge of ASME Code standards and industry best practices. • Experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with bills of material management and product lifecycle databases.
