TalentFish is hiring for our premier client and seeking a Senior Azure Automation & Telemetry Engineer to productionize an existing Azure-based endpoint telemetry and reporting platform. This is a highly technical, hands-on implementation role responsible for transforming an established proof of concept into a secure, scalable production solution. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across Azure Automation, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Graph, KQL, and PowerShell, with experience building enterprise telemetry and reporting solutions. This is not an architecture or Intune administration role. The solution has already been designed. The selected engineer will implement, validate, optimize, document, and transition the production environment. What You Bring to the Role. The ideal candidate has successfully implemented Azure Automation, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Graph integrations in production environments and is comfortable owning a solution from implementation through documentation and knowledge transfer. What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position) • Implement and productionize an Azure-based endpoint telemetry platform. • Configure Azure Automation accounts, managed identities, scheduling, monitoring, and operational support. • Develop and support PowerShell 7.x runbooks for automated Microsoft Graph data collection. • Configure Azure Monitor Logs Ingestion, Data Collection Rules (DCRs), Log Analytics workspaces, and custom tables. • Build and optimize advanced KQL queries for current-state reporting, historical analysis, trend reporting, and data validation. • Validate telemetry collection, data quality, source freshness, and ingestion performance. • Develop Azure Workbooks supporting operational monitoring, filtering, drill-down analysis, and troubleshooting. • Establish the Power BI reporting foundation, including semantic models, data relationships, refresh processes, and governance. • Collaborate with infrastructure, endpoint, security, identity, and reporting teams throughout implementation. • Perform testing, documentation, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer activities.
