Senior Accountant (CPA) | Tech Startup Accounting Firm | New York Remote / Hybrid (flexible) $100k/110k (dependant on experience) + bonus + equity potential Talentedge are excited to be partnering with a startup Accounting / Advisory firm who support some of the fastest growing technology businesses in the US, including multiple YC backed startups. Their client base is sector-agnostic across the technology landscape, however FinTech / AI and SaaS are their primary areas, typically working with businesses who have raised $5m - $50m in VC funding. Owing to explosive growth, the firm are looking to hire a Big 4 CPA to work with some of their newly acquired clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious & progressive individual who is looking to fast-track their career by working with multiple category-defining startups on a daily basis, resulting in being a much more rounded professional. Role details to include: • Build scalable processes and controls, fully utilising technology where possible • Own preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annual) according to GAAP • Partner with external auditors, managing audit and tax reporting • Own the relationship with client CFO / CEO (depending on the size of the firm), acting as a true business partner Experienced required: • Big 4 CPA • Technology enthusiast • Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business • Ambitious, driven and detail oriented.
