Job Title - Senior Human Resources Generalist Job Location - Grand Rapids (REMOTE ROLE) Job Duratino - 2+ Months Shift/Time Zone: M - F 8am - 5pm, additional hours or flexible start and end times may be required. 100% REMOTE ROLE Job Summary • As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating policies and programs for our managed labs. • Covering the following activities: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations for specific internal client groups. • Reports to the HR leader of HMH/PLS with functional responsibility to multiple client groups. Duties and Responsibilities • Recruits and screens exempt and non-exempt applicants. Ensures compliance with corporate hiring practices and policies. • Administers the corporate performance management and salary administration programs in accordance with company policies. • Services as a representative for various employee relations' issues by counseling employees and managers, gathering information and working with the HRSC to make action recommendations • Facilitates training and career development plans for client groups. • Works with the HR leader HMH / PLS to administer the annual HR Planning Process, such as performance reviews, compensation planning & goal setting. • Serves as Glint Survey administrator for client groups. • Assists employees in resolving benefits coverage issues by troubleshooting with Corporate HR and Corporate Benefits. • Facilitates organizational design and change management initiatives with client groups Job Qualifications (Work Experience, Physical & Mental Requirements, Knowledge, Skills) Required Work Experience: • 3+ years HR Generalist experience • Preferred Work Experience: • Worked in a medical environment • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree is REQUIRED Knowledge: • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel) • Knowledge of PeopleSoft/Oracle (HR specific systems) Skills: • Organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Dealing with ambiguity • Prioritizing work • People Leader Responsibility: Work Environment: • Travel up to 25% - to hospital locations within the Midwest Region Additional Job Details: • Need candidate in Michigan - remote with the possibility of sitting in Grand Rapids on occasion. • 25% travel across the state of Michigan. • A great candidate will have/be: • A great communicator • Have good time management and the ability to manage projects effectively • Ability to work in a high paced environment • Have critical thinking skills not just adminstrative experience • Strong excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) • Strong HR knowledge (Employment Law, Benefits, Employee Relations, etc) • Be able to exhibit self-initiative #PB01 PB01 Remote Skills: Business Performance Management, Career Development, Change Management, Communication Skills, Compensation Management, Compensation and Benefits, Corporate Compliance, Corporate Policies, Data Collection, Employee Benefits, Employee Relations, Employment Law, Establish Priorities, Hospital, Human Resources, Human Resources Planning, Human Resources Processes, Interpersonal Skills, Laboratory Management, Maintain Compliance, Market Surveys, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Organizational Development/Management, Organizational Skills, Peoplesoft, Performance Reviews, Pivot Tables, Project/Program Coordination, Project/Program Management, Set Goals, Staff Training, Time Management, Vlookups, Willing to Travel About the Company: TalentBurst, Inc.
