Axleruns | Remote (San Jose, CA) | Up to $200K + Equity | July 2025 Start The Role We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build AI-powered compliance automation for financial institutions. This is a fully remote position where you'll work across our entire Python backend and React frontend stack while integrating cutting-edge AI models into production systems. What You'll Do • Build Python APIs and microservices that orchestrate AI agents for financial compliance workflows • Develop React applications where compliance teams interact with our AI digital workers • Integrate Large Language Models into scalable backend infrastructure for document analysis and decision-making • Create data pipelines processing millions of financial transactions through AI-powered investigation tools • Work directly with customers to understand compliance challenges and ship features that solve real problems Tech Stack You'll Use Backend: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS/Google Cloud Platform Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS AI/ML: OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, vector databases, model fine-tuning Infrastructure: Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, distributed systems Perfect Fit If You Have • 5+ years Python backend experience building APIs and distributed systems in production • Strong React/frontend skills for customer-facing web applications • AI/ML experience - whether it's integrating models, training systems, or working with LLMs • Full stack mindset - comfortable working across the entire technology stack • Startup experience shipping features quickly in fast-paced, remote-first environments Why This Opportunity Matters Financial institutions waste $1 billion annually on manual compliance investigations that take weeks to complete.
