Senior JavaScript Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 | Remote Employment Type: 12+ Month W2 Contract No C2C or Sponsorship Position Overview Talent Groups is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to develop and support high volume, mission critical web applications. This is a hands on role focused on TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, Node.js, SQL, and cloud technologies, with daily use of AI assisted development tools. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, debug, and support enterprise web applications • Develop applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Next.js • Design and optimize SQL databases, stored procedures, and queries • Participate in technical design and architecture • Deploy and support applications in cloud environments, with Azure strongly preferred • Use AI tools and coding assistants throughout the software development lifecycle • Troubleshoot technical, performance, and production issues • Collaborate with developers and cross functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers Required Qualifications • 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Node.js • 3+ years developing web applications with Next.js • 5+ years of experience with SQL, including stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning • 3+ years deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments • Experience developing multi tier applications for high volume systems • Experience using AI tools or coding assistants in software development • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and effectively within an Agile development team Preferred Qualifications • Experience with C#, Java, Python, or other programming languages • Advanced infrastructure or infrastructure management experience • Experience with NoSQL databases • Experience using AI agents to automate development tasks and workflows • Experience developing AI assisted engineering workflows Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
