On-site Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s Duration: 6 months to start Job Description We are seeking a process improvement person with project management experience with advanced project management tool expertise (preferably Smartsheet) who can access our current workflows, design better processes, and recommend how Smartsheet can be leveraged to improve efficiency. (This is not a basic Smartsheet user role). We need someone who understands advanced capabilities, automation, integrations, and process optimization. What We Want • An experienced process improvement person who understands project management processes who can analyze our existing manual processes, identify gaps, and recommend better ways of working. • A project management tool (preferably Smartsheet) power user who knows advanced features—such as automated workflows, approval routing, reporting dashboards, and cross-sheet data management - not just simple tasks like building a form. • Someone with industry knowledge - preferably from a marketing or agency environment - who understands best practices for creative production, asset tracking, and review/approval workflows. • A collaborator who can design a streamlined process in a project management tool (preferably Smartsheet), pilot it with our team, and, if successful, help prepare detailed requirements for a Smartsheet development partner to build or automate. Why We Need This • Our Communication Team’s current project management and production processes are manual and inefficient. For example: • Document reviews and approvals are handled through a series of individual emails, making tracking cumbersome and error-prone. • Communication plans in Word detail the needed assets and the content for each (e.g., webpages, ads, email series) but do not integrate with Smartsheet for tracking from creation through publication. • We have a vision for a more efficient Smartsheet-based system, but our workflows are too fragmented to clearly define what to build. Before engaging a Smartsheet development company, we need someone to improve, organize, refine, and standardize our processes so we can provide clear, actionable requirements.
