Job Title: Application / Technology Developer Location: Hybrid – Minneapolis, MN (Remote with occasional onsite presence) Start Date: February 16, 2026 Duration: 11 Months (through January 2027) Only on W2 Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Application / Technology Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions for large-scale data processing initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with architectural leadership, while remaining hands-on as an individual contributor. The architect will play a critical role in shaping system design and technical direction, working in a modern cloud environment leveraging Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS to support mission-critical products and data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems using Java and Spring Boot. • Lead the architectural design of cloud-native solutions across Google Cloud Platform and AWS platforms. • Architect and implement large-scale data processing systems, leveraging Google Cloud Platform Dataflow. • Design and manage systems using a mix of NoSQL and relational databases. • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex initiatives while remaining an active individual contributor. • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. • Promote best practices around microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development. Required Qualifications • 13+ years of professional software development experience. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). • Strong, recent hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. • 3+ years of experience using Google Cloud Platform Dataflow for large-scale, production-grade data processing applications. • Proven expertise designing solutions across both Google Cloud Platform and AWS cloud environments. • Solid experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong background working with NoSQL and relational databases. Nice-to-Have Qualifications • Data Engineering or Cloud-related certifications. • Experience with advanced cloud-native monitoring, observability, and security practices.
