Summary The Channel & OEM Manager will lead the commercial strategy over their portfolio of distribution, kit and OEM customers. This role will develop strong customer relationships that will drive long lasting growth across the entire Aspen Surgical product portfolio spanning many different markets. The CM will be responsible for growing revenue and profit through cross functional collaboration while also providing guidance on portfolio expansion opportunities that will be attractive to their customer portfolio. In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To • Establish and maintain business channels to grow Aspen’s sales in the United States • Sell our full line of medical products offered to new or existing Aspen channel customers • Travel to meet and become key contact with distribution and OEM customers • Develop sales strategies and execute programs that are necessary to achieve the sales and profit goals for the company • Target distributors, kit packers and OEM customers and execute plan for working with customer champions to drive growth (product managers, global sourcing managers, sales representatives, buyers, quality managers, and leadership team members) • Build and manage relationships with key decision makers • Utilize internal resources, including customer service, product managers, operations, and quality team members to effectively present Aspen products to customers • Analyze customer sales opportunities (gap analysis) and manage forecasts • Solicit orders for products in-person and over the telephone • Prepare new opportunity financials, seek pricing approval, and present sales quotes to customers • Create and present dynamic business reviews to customers and Aspen’s Senior Leadership Team • Help conduct due diligence activities as requested regarding potential acquisitions • Manage special projects such as evaluating growth opportunities around product line extensions or new market expansion • Work with Marketing department to develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals specified by Aspen • Represent the company at local, regional, and national trade shows to promote products and services • Negotiate and manage contracts and contractual obligations for key customers • Communicate technical information related to Aspen products • Formulate and maintain reports on sales activities • Stay current on Aspen trainings and expense reporting following company guidelines What You Need to Succeed in This Position • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field • 7+ years related sales, marketing or product management experience with proven track record required • 3+ years of accomplished business to business sales experience preferred • 2+ years O.R. experience preferred • Knowledgeable in Medical Device applications for specific surgical procedures and settings • Strong project management skills required • Strong financial acumen required • Must operate a computer effectively and efficiently, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Valid Driver’s License with no prior suspensions or revocations • Ability for up to 50% travel via car or plane • Ability to speak in front of groups of people to deliver dynamic presentations • Strong negotiations experience required • Must have excellent communication skills to work with customers • Creativity is necessary to help identify sales opportunities • Must work well independently and take charge of situations • Must be able to collaborate with other internal departments to move projects forward • Energetic, outgoing and excited about growing company and increasing market share We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer- and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status.
