We are seeking a high-level Senior Data Scientist to support U.S. operations for a fast-growing health insurance technology company transforming its data and analytics capabilities. This is a full-time, remote hybrid position working EST hours. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strategic leadership experience, balancing innovation delivery, model development, and cross-functional collaboration. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time. Job Title: Senior Data Scientist - AI Team Location: Remote Hybrid 3x per week (Offices in NYC, Holmdel NJ, Pittsfield MA, Bethlehem PA, Stamford CT, Boston MA. Candidates must be able to commute into one of these offices.) Responsibilities • Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI/ML models across enterprise-scale datasets • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI innovation and translate complex problems into actionable technical solutions • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to integrate AI capabilities into scalable solutions • Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI, incorporating compliance, and risk • Stay ahead of AI research trends, tools, and frameworks Required Skills & Experience • 6+ years of experience in data science, with recent expeirence in health insurance or financial services Data Science environments • Strong proficiency in Python, Llangchain/LLamaIndex, and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn • Experience leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders • Track record of translating business problems into AI solutions and delivering measurable outcomes • Experience in financial services, insurance, or related data-intensive industries preferred but not required Compensation • Base Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 (This is a range encompassing two possible data science positions, at various levels) • Benefits : Annual Bonus - Full Health Benefits, PTO, 401K - Additional Information • Must be authorized to work in the United States — no visa sponsorship available For more information or to apply, contact Andrew Gallagher at agallagher@Talener.com
