Talarico for Texas is hiring a Distributed Organizing Manager to join James Talarico’s US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position perfect for someone who enjoys people and building systems to turn out voters and win elections. Responsibilities Program Design & Execution: Build and manage the distributed organizing program, including phone banks, text banks, and virtual events. Volunteer Engagement: Recruit, train, and retain volunteers to lead digital and at-home organizing efforts, with an emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility. Technology Management: Oversee tools such as Mobilize, Scale to Win, and others as needed for distributed programs; ensure systems are easy for volunteers to use. Content Creation: Draft scripts, training decks, and toolkits for volunteers. Training: Lead regular volunteer trainings online; empower volunteers to become team leaders who can host their own events and mobilize peers. Data & Reporting: Track volunteer sign-ups, shifts, and voter contact; report progress toward campaign organizing goals. Collaboration: Work closely with the Organizing Director, Deputy Organizing Director and all other Organizing staff to align distributed work with the field plan. Innovation: Identify new opportunities to expand the campaign’s reach through creative digital tactics and supporter-driven initiatives. At least 1–2 cycles of campaign field or distributed organizing experience (statewide or federal preferred). Proven track record of recruiting, training, and managing volunteers at scale. Strong familiarity with voter contact tools (VAN/MiniVAN, Scale to Win, Mobilize, etc.). Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Comfortable running trainings, large Zoom calls, and volunteer leadership meetings. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Creative and adaptive problem-solver who thrives in high-stakes situations. Commitment to the mission and values of James Talarico’s campaign. Willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel as campaign needs require.
