Senior Graphic Designer – Brand Creative About the brands: Takeya and ThermoFlask are two distinct brands creating thoughtfully designed products for hydration, drinkware, food storage, and everyday beverage rituals. Both are grounded in intuitive function, dependable performance, and products made to be used and enjoyed for years. Takeya is a premium, design-led brand rooted in Japanese ingenuity and a California point of view. Across hydration, coffee, tea, and kitchen products, Takeya combines purposeful simplicity, enduring quality, and a considered approach to modern living. ThermoFlask makes reliable, accessible drinkware and food storage designed to keep up with real life. Practical, durable, and easy to use, the brand helps individuals and families stay ready for school, work, sports, weekends, and wherever the day takes them. About the Role: Senior Graphic Designer We’re looking for a concept-driven Senior Graphic Designer with exceptional taste, a strong point of view, and a passion for visual storytelling. You’ll play a critical role on a collaborative in-house creative team, helping shape how our two brands show up across every customer touchpoint and bringing ideas to life from concept through final execution. Both Takeya and ThermoFlask are in an exciting period of evolution, with each brand undergoing a broader repositioning and creative transformation. This role offers the opportunity to help define what comes next, building and strengthening distinct brand identities while translating new strategies into meaningful, cohesive creative work. This is a hands-on role for a versatile maker who can move confidently between design, typography, photography, and motion. You’ll develop and extend visual systems across campaigns, product launches, digital marketing, social, print, and wholesale, working closely with creative leadership and cross-functional marketing and product teams. We’re looking for someone who cares about the work, moves with the pace of a small team, and brings new ideas rather than simply executing what already exists. Strong digital instincts are essential, along with the range, attention to detail, and creative intelligence to push both brands forward while keeping the work cohesive, fresh, and effective. What You’ll Do • Develop and execute strong creative concepts that reflect each brand’s voice, visual identity, and business goals • Own projects from concept through final delivery • Design across web, email, social, paid media, retail, packaging, presentations, events, and other brand touchpoints • Create refined layouts with a strong command of typography, hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling • Plan, concept, and support photoshoots, including shot lists, visual references, on-set creative direction, and post-production • Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Digital, and Product teams to bring brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal stories to life • Maintain and evolve brand standards while introducing fresh ideas that push the work forward • Manage multiple projects, production files, and final assets while meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality We'd love to hear from you if you have: • 6+ years of professional graphic design experience • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, typography, layout, and cross-channel execution • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign • A strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to apply them consistently while evolving the work • Experience designing for both digital and print, with knowledge of current digital best practices and print production • Experience supporting photography from shoot planning and on-set collaboration through post-production • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills • Working knowledge of motion, animation, or video-editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent is a plus Location: This role is ideally based in Orange County and able to work from our Costa Mesa office four days a week. We’re open to remote candidates for the right fit. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $95,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a 10% annual bonus.
