Job Title: Program Manager V - People Risk, Privacy, Compliance (PRPC) Job ID: 65446-1 Pay: $90-$105/hr. Location: Fully remote (CST/EST preferred) Duration: 6-month contract starting M-F, full-time (40 hours); W2 • Opportunity for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs* Health Benefits + PTO Description: The People Data Review Program Manager will join the People Risk, Privacy, Compliance (PRPC) team to work across our key partners to lead risk initiatives to scale our global program. Specifically, the People Data Review Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end assessment of employment and privacy and AI risk in new and Client use cases impacting People Data. The ideal person will have proven risk management skills, be a systems thinker, and have experience leading highly complex and highly matrixed company initiatives. Requirements: • Lead end-to-end risk assessments for projects and initiatives involving people data, maintaining accountability throughout the process and collaborating with legal • Lead the resolution of issues identified during reviews, working in partnership with legal and cross-functional compliance teams. • Develop and own communication plans to communicate program status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders, leadership and. • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure HR Compliance is not compromised. • Exercise excellent people skills, be a team player with a bias to action. • Be motivated by the opportunity to solve complex HR risk problems within an operations environment. • Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables. Minimum Qualifications • Risk management or Compliance expertise; preferably 2nd line of defense risk management or internal audit experience within a Tech company • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments for privacy, employment, security, and AI compliance in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. • Have working knowledge or willingness to quickly learn the content and requirements of various employment laws, regulations, industry guidance, and company compliance policies. • Demonstrate data analytical skills, creativity, and experience working with attention to detail • Experience maintaining open, candid, and trusting work relationships with both engineering teams and legal partners. Must Have Skills • Previous Meta /great feedback • Proven experience as an HR Risk Manager with expertise in: • Privacy compliance • Employment compliance • AI Compliance • Risk Management • Strong background in data analytics, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred) • Familiarity with SQL is highly desirable, with the ability to assist with programmatic tasks and data analysis • Demonstrated experience in handling complex privacy issues and providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions • Proactive and solution oriented • Ability to build trusted professional relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience working with engineering teams, including collaboration and communication skills • Exposure to AI technologies, including: • AI development and implementation • AI-related problem-solving and analysis • Degrees/Certifications • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Risk ManagementCIPM, CIPP or AI compliance certifications would be beneficial Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
