Position Description: We are seeking a proactive and precision-focused Quality to support quality assurance for glass to metal seals in a high-mix, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is instrumental in process validation, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of mechanical drawings, and quality systems, along with a passion for data-driven problem solving and a hands-on approach to working closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams. Responsibilities: · Interpret mechanical drawings specifications to validate and analyze dimensional accuracy of parts. · Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and internal requirements. · Lead or support process validation efforts for new products, tooling, and process changes. · Perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA) on nonconformances and quality issues; generate and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). · Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, scrap, and variation. · Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and systemic issues; work cross-functionally to implement effective solutions. · Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, control plans, NCRs, and FMEAs. · Support compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system through documentation, audits, and internal process controls. · Inspect incoming raw materials and finished assemblies for compliance with specifications Skills/Requirements: · 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred: · Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies · Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated high-precision manufacturing · Familiarity with glass to metal assemblies, including thermal distortion, shrinkage, and tolerance control · Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard Company Values: · Winning and growing by remaining customer centric, fast, and flexible · Respect and values people · Business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit · Expectations for results · High ethical standards, sincerity, and trust
