Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, utilizing cleaning and custodial skills to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or facility spaces • Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively to complete cleaning duties • Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management • Use cleaning chemicals and supplies appropriately, adhering to safety guidelines • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards • Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts • Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment when necessary • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times Requirements • Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients • Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and professionalism This position provides an essential service in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various facilities.
