Serve as a senior strategic advisor to support submarine manufacturing and sustainment industrial base through strategy development, stakeholder management, and program oversight.
Requires 10+ years supporting Navy programs with preference for submarine shipbuilding, expert stakeholder coordination, DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Description: • Serve as a senior strategic advisor focusing on strengthening submarine manufacturing and sustainment industrial base. • Apply expert familiarity with defense manufacturing, shipbuilding, strategic planning, and initiative assessment. • Identify, develop, and execute new strategies and initiatives to support submarine and maritime industrial base development. • Navigate complex stakeholder relationships across government and private industry. • Manage standup and execution of new initiatives and programs. • Perform detailed analysis of industrial base and strategic environments. • Regularly communicate progress and challenges through briefs, analytic products, and decision support for senior client leadership and officials. • Support Team Submarine activities including Columbia-class SSBN, Virginia-class SSN, and SSN-X programs; provide oversight and planning for submarine construction and sustainment. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, management or other relevant field. • 10+ years supporting Navy programs, with a preference for submarine shipbuilding or defense acquisition program initiatives. • Expert level ability to assess, navigate, and coordinate efforts between government and industry stakeholders. • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to perform complex strategic analysis and communicate to decision makers. • Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment. • Desired: Experience developing or implementing supply chain, industrial base, or manufacturing/sustainment improvement and risk reduction initiatives. • Desired: Advanced degree in engineering, operations, management or other relevant field.
