Job Title: Software Engineer - Contractor Company Overview: System One is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, specializing in risk mitigation and software development services. Role Overview: As a Software Engineer Contractor at System One, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining software applications that support our risk mitigation initiatives. This hybrid role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions that meet client needs and industry standards. What You'll Do: - You will develop, test, and deploy software applications in a hybrid work environment. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. - You will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - You will troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. - You will document software designs, processes, and updates for team reference. - You will maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements relevant to risk mitigation. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - You have at least 3 years of professional experience in software development. - You are proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - You have experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with risk mitigation or compliance software. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. - Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
