Role Overview: As a Senior Signalling System Engineer at System One, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced signalling systems for rail and transit projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. What You'll Do: - You will design and develop signalling system architectures and components for complex rail projects. - You will lead system integration and testing activities to ensure seamless operation. - You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and technical teams to define requirements and deliverables. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to signalling systems. - You will prepare detailed technical documentation and reports. - You will mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. - You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. - You have at least 7 years of experience in signalling system engineering, preferably in rail or transit sectors. - You possess strong knowledge of signalling protocols, safety standards, and system integration. - You have experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar engineering applications. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have strong communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Positive Train Control (PTC) systems. - Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification. - Familiarity with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations. - Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
