Role Overview: As a Senior Signalling System Engineer at System One, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced signalling systems for rail and transit projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will design and develop signalling system architectures and components to meet project specifications. - You will conduct system integration and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. - You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver timely and effective solutions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex signalling system issues during installation and commissioning phases. - You will prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client use. - You will mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team development. - You will stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in signalling system engineering, preferably in rail or transit sectors. - Strong knowledge of signalling principles, safety standards (e.g., IEEE, AREMA), and system integration. - Proficiency with signalling design software and tools such as AutoCAD, RailSys, or equivalent. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Positive Train Control (PTC) systems or CBTC technologies. - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. - Experience working in a hybrid or remote work setting.
