Role Overview: As an OpenShift Software Architect at System One, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable containerized solutions using OpenShift. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-native application development and infrastructure modernization, ensuring robust and efficient deployment pipelines. What You'll Do: - You will design and architect OpenShift-based container solutions tailored to client needs. - You will lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. - You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders. - You will evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the OpenShift environment. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to container orchestration and platform stability. - You will contribute to documentation and best practices for OpenShift architecture and deployment. - You will participate in hybrid work arrangements, collaborating effectively across multiple locations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture or cloud infrastructure roles. - Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes container orchestration. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking concepts. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to work across diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Background in microservices architecture and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with security best practices in containerized environments.
