Job Title: OpenShift Software Architect Company Overview: System One is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in innovative software and cloud infrastructure services. Role Overview: As an OpenShift Software Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing containerized applications and cloud-native solutions using Red Hat OpenShift. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and ensure robust, scalable, and secure deployments. What You'll Do: - You will design and architect OpenShift-based solutions tailored to client needs. - You will lead the deployment and management of containerized applications on OpenShift platforms. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to OpenShift clusters and applications. - You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. - You will ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards. - You will participate in capacity planning and performance tuning of OpenShift environments. - You will document architectural designs, processes, and best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture or cloud infrastructure roles. - Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. - Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. - Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
