Job Title: OpenShift Software Architect Company Overview: System One is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in innovative software and cloud infrastructure services. Role Overview: As an OpenShift Software Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable containerized solutions using OpenShift. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-native architecture strategies and ensure robust, secure, and efficient deployment of applications. What You'll Do: - You will design and architect OpenShift-based container solutions tailored to business needs. - You will lead the deployment and management of OpenShift clusters across multiple environments. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines. - You will ensure security best practices are embedded in the architecture and deployment processes. - You will troubleshoot and optimize OpenShift platform performance and reliability. - You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams. - You will stay current with emerging cloud and container technologies to recommend improvements. - You will contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the organization. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture or cloud infrastructure roles. - Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. - Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. - Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Background in microservices architecture and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with security compliance standards and practices.
