Role Overview: As a Nuclear Plant Design Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of design components within nuclear power plants. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while working fully remotely. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and integrate design activities across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project alignment. - You will review and validate design documents to comply with nuclear industry standards and regulations. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize plant performance. - You will support the development of technical specifications and interface control documents. - You will participate in design reviews and provide expert recommendations to improve system integration. - You will track project progress and report on integration status to stakeholders. - You will ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance processes throughout the design phase. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - You bring at least 5 years of experience in nuclear plant design or integration engineering. - You possess strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements and industry codes. - You have proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams remotely. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with digital plant design and 3D modeling software. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. - Previous work experience in a fully remote engineering role. - Certification in nuclear safety or project management.
