Job Title: Android UI Engineer Company Overview: System One is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in innovative software development and IT consulting services. Role Overview: As an Android UI Engineer at System One, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing user-friendly, high-performance mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless and engaging user experiences on the Android platform. What You'll Do: - You will design and develop intuitive and responsive Android user interfaces. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile applications. - You will optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across various Android devices. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues and bugs. - You will stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices. - You will contribute to the documentation of UI components and development guidelines. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in Android UI development. - You are proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages. - You have strong knowledge of Android SDK, UI frameworks, and material design principles. - You have experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services. - You possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components. - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of UX/UI design tools and principles. - Experience working in Agile development environments.
