The Specialist: Lead Qualification (Americas) will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality inbound leads from marketing campaigns and content programs are swiftly and effectively progressed into the sales pipeline. • Location preference for candidates in Chicago, Illinois. Key Responsibilities: • This role acts as the first touchpoint after a lead engages with content or campaign assets, reviewing and qualifying MQLs based on pre-defined criteria before routing them to the SDR or Sales team. • Review and assess marketing-generated leads to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles and readiness for sales engagement. • Apply lead scoring models using firmographic and behavioral data to prioritize high-potential opportunities. • Collaborate with SDRs to ensure timely and accurate lead handoff, enabling effective follow-up and conversion. • Conduct light research to validate lead information and identify nurture opportunities for future outreach. • Monitor lead flow, share feedback with marketing teams, and flag trends or gaps to improve campaign performance and targeting. • Work closely with campaign managers, content marketers, and sales stakeholders to ensure our funnel flows smoothly and no qualified lead is left behind. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred. • 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing, sales development, or lead qualification • Experience in ERP, SaaS, or other complex B2B environments • Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) • Strong attention to detail, especially when assessing lead data and behavioral indicators • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across marketing and sales • Understanding of lead scoring models and funnel metrics. • Basic research and data enrichment skills using tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or similar.
