A company is looking for a Research & Policy Officer to draft articles and reports on human rights in Syria and communicate findings to policymakers. Key Responsibilities • Monitor news and collaborate with the documentation team to prioritize thematic topics for publication • Draft articles and reports on human rights violations and respond to inquiries from policymakers • Engage with policymakers and stakeholders to disseminate recommendations and facilitate discussions on priority issues Required Qualifications • University degree in human rights, law, international affairs, or a relevant field (advanced degree preferred) • Knowledge of the Syrian conflict and associated human rights violations • 3+ years of professional experience in research, policy, or government affairs • Proficiency in English and Arabic (Syrian dialect), both written and spoken
