Software Engineer Expert Position: Software Engineer Expert Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $100–$150/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity We are seeking experienced Software Engineering Experts to evaluate AI-generated work products, including presentations, spreadsheets, and documents, for real-world professional quality. In this remote, hourly role, selected experts will apply their software engineering knowledge and professional judgment to assess whether AI-generated materials are accurate, usable, technically appropriate, and well presented within a software engineering context. Your feedback will help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated professional work. Responsibilities • Evaluate AI-generated slides, spreadsheets, documents, and other professional artifacts for usability in software engineering contexts. • Assess outputs for factual accuracy, technical relevance, and professional quality. • Identify errors in content, presentation, formatting, logic, and overall usability. • Evaluate whether materials appropriately reflect real-world software engineering practices. • Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback. • Apply professional software engineering judgment consistently when grading AI-generated work products. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Software Engineering at a top firm in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. • Professional fluency in English. • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including: • Microsoft PowerPoint • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Word • Google Workspace applications • Strong written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback. • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment. • Ability to evaluate work products against real-world software engineering standards. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree or higher from a reputable institution. • Experience reviewing or evaluating technical documentation, presentations, spreadsheets, or other professional deliverables. • Experience providing structured quality feedback in professional or technical environments.
