We’re looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications who can take our brand, voice, and growth engine to the next level. This role is equal parts strategist and builder — someone who can zoom out to shape our market presence and zoom in to execute campaigns that deliver measurable impact. You’ll own brand development and integration (including during M&A), lead demand generation and digital marketing, and drive PR, communications, and events that put us in front of the right audiences at the right time. You thrive in a build as you go environment where you can translate big picture goals into actionable marketing programs — and you’re just as comfortable designing a campaign concept as you are writing copy or creating the visuals that bring it to life. What You’ll Do Brand & Storytelling Build and evolve a strong, differentiated brand identity that resonates with customers and partners. Lead brand integration efforts through acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and unified messaging. Develop and maintain brand guidelines and visual identity systems across all platforms and collateral. Create or oversee creation of marketing assets and visuals — including presentations, social media graphics, one-pagers, videos, and website visuals — ensuring a cohesive, high-quality look and feel. Write and edit compelling content (website copy, blog posts, press releases, case studies, and campaign materials) that communicates our value and strengthens our brand voice. Growth Marketing & Demand Gen Design and execute demand generation strategies that create pipelines and accelerate revenue. Own our digital presence, including SEO/SEM, website, and content marketing, with a focus on measurable growth. Conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO optimization, and manage search engine marketing campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions. Develop and manage a content calendar, producing engaging, high-quality assets across channels — blogs, landing pages, social, and email — to support lead generation and nurturing efforts. Use analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation to measure performance, inform strategy, and scale high-impact campaigns. PR & Communications Elevate our market presence with compelling narratives, thought leadership, and strong media and investor relationships. Lead corporate and internal communications to keep employees and stakeholders aligned, informed, and inspired. Create and oversee press releases, media opportunities, and investor/corporate materials to ensure messaging is consistent, accurate, and on-brand. Shape and protect the company’s external image, reinforcing a cohesive narrative across all stakeholder communications. Review and refine communications, slide decks, and other materials to ensure clarity, professionalism, and alignment with brand standards Events & Experiences Create high-impact events (industry conferences, customer events, and community activations) that extend our reach and strengthen relationships. Design event branding and collateral (signage, booth materials, presentations, giveaways) that reflect the company’s identity and messaging. M&A Marketing Leadership Partner with corporate development teams to manage brand, communications, and go-to-market strategies during acquisitions. Ensure acquired brands integrate smoothly into our identity and culture. Team & Culture Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and impact. Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Operations, and Exec teams to align on goals and outcomes What We’re Looking For 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles in high-growth or scale-up companies. Track record of building and evolving brands, including during M&A activity. Hands-on design and content creation skills — proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Strong writing and storytelling ability across a variety of formats (digital, print, presentations, video scripts, etc.). Hands-on expertise in demand generation, SEO/SEM, and data-driven digital marketing. Experience managing PR, communications, and media relationships. Proven ability to craft compelling copy that reflects and strengthens brand voice. Strong background in events strategy and execution. Experience with Hubspot preferred. Comfortable balancing strategy and execution — willing to roll up your sleeves while also leading the vision. Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams. Entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and excitement for building in a fast-paced environment. Travel Requirements This position requires the ability to travel within the United States and internationally, 10-25% of the time, based on business needs. Candidates must possess a valid U.S. passport for international travel and demonstrate the flexibility to accommodate occasional travel on short notice, including evenings or weekends, as needed. Familiarity with domestic and international travel processes is a plus. Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B, O-1, etc.). Language Requirements Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required to effectively collaborate with team members and partners. This includes the ability to prepare detailed reports, deliver presentations, and engage in professional discussions.
