Full Description

Job Summary: Responsible for washing and cleaning parts before shipping to customer or outside services. Pack parts or assemblies as required for storage/delivery.  Help maintain product inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Cleans parts prior to shipping as instructed. * Works with solvent and other cleaning chemicals (bleach, dish soap, etc.) * Deburr or polish parts as per routing or as instructed.   * Works with steel wool, sandpaper, knives, and various deburr/polish equipment. * Sand blasts, paints and assembles parts. * Assists shipping department in maintaining inventory. * Assists shipping department in preparing parts for shipment to outside services or to the customer. * Keeps work area clean and organized. Additional Responsibilities: * When requested, may work on special projects and various related assignments. * May be required to work in various areas of operations when necessary.  * Performs other related duties and assignments as required. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. Education, Skills and Experience: * Prefer previous experience in a machine shop environment. * Good communication skills. * Must be able to take direction from various personnel. * Must be a good team player.
