A growing Kansas City company is looking to add a Logistics Freight Scheduler to their growing staff. The Logistics Freight Scheduler is responsible for a variety of duties that include: • Quote and cover truckload shipments • Contact, negotiate and secure carriers for loads • Dispatch drivers and schedule carriers • Bid on contracts • Track drivers and shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery within established windows • Keep accurate and complete records of shipments and communicate information effectively • Assist in retaining and recruiting drivers Skills required for Transportation Coordinator: • 3+ years logistics coordination experience • Strong data entry and Microsoft Excel skills • Strong attention to detail and computer skills are a must Company DescriptionSynergy Search Group and Staffing Services are committed to excellence in quality recruiting and reliable service to our candidates and the clients we serve.
