Senior Python Data Engineer (Investment Management Domain) We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer to join our global technology team supporting key initiatives in the investment management domain (Asset or Wealth). This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies while collaborating with teams across multiple regions to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using PySpark, dbt, and related frameworks • Write efficient and maintainable object-oriented Python code for data processing and analytics • Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle and MS SQL Server • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and contribute to data architecture and design decisions • Ensure adherence to best practices in data modeling, code quality, and performance optimization Required Skills & Experience • Strong proficiency in Python with deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) • Proven experience with PySpark, dbt, or similar ETL frameworks • Advanced SQL coding skills, with hands-on experience in Oracle and MS SQL • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with global stakeholders • Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions • Background in the investment management domain (Asset or Wealth) is a strong plus If you’re passionate about building robust data solutions and want to make an impact in a dynamic financial technology environment — we’d love to hear from you!
