A leader in custom metal fabrication is hiring for a Shift Supervisor to join their team in Birdsboro, PA. This hands-on supervisory role oversees a small production team on the manufacturing floor to ensure quality output and adherence to daily production goals. Working closely with operators and welders, the Shift Supervisor ensures pre-cut components are correctly staged and assembled according to blueprint specifications and ISO procedures. This role is critical to maintaining both production flow and quality assurance standards from initial fabrication to final shipment. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise a team of 4-6 employees to meet daily production goals. -Review production schedules and ensure proper material staging and fixture loading. -Interpret blueprints to confirm accurate setup of parts prior to welding. -Conduct in-process and post-weld inspections to ensure quality standards are met. -Direct any out-of-spec components for rework and oversee re-inspection. -Perform final product checks using quality control checklists prior to shipping. -Enforce ISO procedures and production floor protocols. -Communicate with management and other departments to resolve production issues. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards. Key Requirements: -Prior experience supervising in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. -Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documentation. -Familiarity with ISO procedures and quality control checklists. -Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and a hands-on leadership style. -Ability to lead a team while maintaining production flow and quality output. Key Qualifications: -At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. -1+ year of blueprint reading experience (required). -1+ year of experience in quality control (required). -MIG welding experience (preferred). -Exposure to robotic welders and/or laser cutting equipment (preferred). -Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug screening. -Available for either 1st or 2nd shift. #zrbc
