Lead deployment, integration, and migration of Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance solutions, including planning, configuration, testing, and client training.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco collaboration technologies, certifications, and experience with cloud and hybrid integrations.
Job Description: • Lead the end-to-end deployment of Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI) solutions, including planning, design, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live. • Conduct as-is assessments of client’s collaboration environment and recommend migration/modernization strategies. • Configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, Expressway, IM & Presence, and other collaboration applications within the Webex DI environment. • Integrate Webex DI with cloud services (Webex Calling, Webex App, Control Hub) and on-premises systems. • Collaborate with network, security, and voice teams to ensure smooth interoperability and compliance. • Perform user migrations, number porting, and device onboarding with minimal downtime. • Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and training to clients and internal teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Webex DI deployment, security, and integrations. • Stay updated on Cisco’s latest Webex features, updates, and best practices. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco Unified Communications / Collaboration technologies. • Proven experience implementing and migrating to Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI). • Strong knowledge of: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) Cisco Expressway Cisco IM & Presence Webex Control Hub • Familiarity with SIP trunking, PSTN connectivity, SBCs (e.g., CUBE, Audiocodes, Ribbon). • Experience with hybrid integrations (Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Azure AD, Cisco Directory Connector). • Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, H.323). • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and client-facing communication skills. • Cisco Collaboration certifications such as: CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or Webex Calling Specialist certification preferred. • Experience with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing / Zoom Phone integration. • Familiarity with network security policies, firewalls, and QoS for voice/video traffic. • Knowledge of cloud migration tools and methodologies.
