JOB_POSTING-3-74168 Job Description Role Summary/Purpose: We are seeking an accomplished candidate for the role of VP, Technical IAM Programs, to lead and drive complex technical initiatives across our Identity and Access Management portfolio. This role focuses on developing automation solutions, operationalizing security controls, and leveraging existing IAM technology stacks to enhance security posture and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in code interpretation, troubleshooting, and solution architecture. As a strategic leader, you will guide a team of engineers, collaborate across multiple business units, and align technical programs to organizational goals within domains like Secrets Management, Privileged Access Monitoring, and Compliance Assurance. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create and execute strategic roadmaps are vital. Essential Responsibilities • Lead and provide technical leadership across IAM domains including Secrets Management (secret scanning & vaulting, e.g., CyberArk/Delinea, HashiCorp Vault, BigID), Privileged Access Monitoring, and Compliance Assurance. • Develop, communicate, and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap to drive innovation, strengthen security controls, and streamline day-to-day operations. • Establish and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders across Security, Technology, Governance, Operational Risk, and Internal Audit teams to align program objectives and facilitate audit readiness. • Identify, assess, and report technical and organizational risks, blockers, corrective actions, and progress updates to executive leadership. • Navigate and resolve technical roadblocks autonomously where possible; escalate complex issues clearly and succinctly. • Mentor and coach engineering teams on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices including design, architecture, testing, and deployment. • Lead solution design efforts for complex technical use cases with a focus on automation and operational efficiency. • Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions. • Define and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program maturity and effectiveness. • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements • Education: • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent, plus 8+ years IT experience, OR • High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years IT experience demonstrating progressive responsibility. • Experience: • Minimum 5 years leading engineering teams delivering technology solutions in medium to large enterprises. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or closely related functions such as Security Engineering, Cyber Intelligence, Vulnerability Management. • At least 2 years working with Agile methodologies in roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Lead. • Minimum 2 years of people management experience, leading teams of 2+ engineers or contractors. • Technical Expertise: • Proven experience with Secrets Management technologies: secret scanning, vaulting tools (CyberArk/Delinea, HashiCorp Vault, BigID). • Strong understanding of IAM directory services, such as Active Directory, LDAP, or similar. • Hands-on experience with Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise Security for monitoring and analytics. • Ability to interpret, debug, and contribute to technical codebases where needed. • Skills: • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration and executive reporting. • Strategic thinker able to develop and articulate long-term program visions and actionable roadmaps. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects in complex environments. • Proactive problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and escalate appropriately. Desired Characteristics • Experience working in highly regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, Government). • Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST cybersecurity frameworks. • Prior experience managing IAM product roadmaps and integrations within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or relevant IAM-focused certifications. Grade/Level: 13 The salary range for this position is 155,000.00 - 260,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. Eligibility Requirements • You must be 18 years or older • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
