Job Opportunity: Marketing & Special Events Specialist Industry: Financial Services / Banking Location: Riverwoods, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Contract Length- 18 months /W2 Travel: Mexico, Caribbean, and LATAM (as needed) We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Marketing & Special Events Specialist to join our team in the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing events and brand presence, and is passionate about building connections across regions. What You’ll Do • Manage event presence and messaging, ensuring strong representation at associations and industry verticals. • Drive brand awareness and lead generation through active participation in associations and events. • Own and execute all aspects of Tier 2 and Tier 3 events in partnership with Relationship Management (RM) and Business Development (BD) teams. • Collaborate on communications strategy, program management, and event planning. • Lead messaging initiatives to employees and stakeholders while expanding use of digital platforms (IntraSites & SharePoint) to showcase relevant content. • Support enterprise-wide visibility by engaging stakeholders and elevating the business unit across the organization. What We’re Looking For • Strong organizational and adaptability skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. • Experience as a Marketing & Special Events Specialist (or similar role). • Ability to travel to Mexico, Caribbean, and LATAM (not frequent, but as needed to support shows/associations). • Spanish speaking skills preferred.
