Description: • Senior software architect coordinating across a portfolio of products deployed in Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments globally • Partner closely with lead architects in cyber security, data, power transmission and distribution to ensure secure, performant, composable designs • Facilitate and drive architectural strategy and hands-on activities across GridOS Operate and Transact product lines • Lead technical vision, planning and oversight of best practices and large scale platform decomposition for a modern, scalable microservice architecture • Formalize data models and API standards and implement CIM standards • Lead architecture reviews, drive knowledge transfer, collaborate with architecture teams and documentation teams • Prepare backlog planning, identify and manage cross-team dependencies Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors with minimum 8 years of experience • Extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures and common data models • Deep understanding of disaggregation of systems into API based microservices • Expertise in defining and implementing API standards and contract based development models • In-depth knowledge of Common Information Model (CIM) standards • Understanding of data mesh and data fabric principles • Understanding of microservice architecture and software development at scale • Understanding of Kubernetes including API, custom resources, API aggregation, Helm, and manifest standardization • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and GitOps, especially in secure, air-gapped environments • Knowledge of mobile software architecture for field crew operations, offline support, and near-realtime operation • Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits: • Healthcare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage • Access to a Health Coach and a 24/7 nurse-based resource • Access to the Employee Assistance Program providing confidential assessment, counseling and referral services • Retirement benefits: GE Retirement Savings Plan, 401(k) with company matching and company retirement contributions • Access to Fidelity resources and planning consultants • Tuition assistance • Adoption assistance • Paid parental leave • Disability insurance • Life insurance • Paid time-off for vacation or illness
