Packaging Operator – 3rd Shift (Mon–Fri | 8-Hour Shifts) 11pm to 7:30 am Pay Rate: $24.32-$27.84 per hour Location: Philadelphia, PA About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our 3rd shift team. In this overnight role, you will support packaging operations by performing accurate line setup, monitoring material flow, completing routine inspections, and ensuring all processes meet safety and quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in a structured environment and prefer working during night hours. What You’ll Do • Perform routine operating tasks under direct supervision • Complete packaging activities that support efficient and continuous equipment operation • Conduct visual product inspections in 35-minute intervals • Monitor, retrieve, and replenish materials to maintain steady workflow • Assist with equipment setup and perform comprehensive line clean-ups per GMP requirements • Take proactive measures to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production • Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality procedures • Review daily production schedules, monitor scrap levels, and escalate issues when necessary • Communicate concerns that may impact production schedules in a timely manner • Complete all required training and maintain compliance certifications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, etc.) • Participate in ongoing training • Work overtime as needed • Perform other tasks as assigned What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to successfully complete required training and certification • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team • Ability to follow detailed procedures in a regulated environment Preferred Qualities • Dependable, punctual, and professional • Fast learner with strong adaptability Additional Requirements • Must adhere to PPE and appearance guidelines (no makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, or eyelash extensions) • Must meet vision requirements: 20/40 vision or better, standard depth and color perception (prescription glasses allowed) • Must have reliable transportation and be available for occasional overtime Why You’ll Love Working Here • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule • Stable overnight hours ideal for night-shift preference • Clear training pathways and opportunities for growth • Supportive, professional team environment If you’re dependable, detail-focused, and interested in a steady overnight role, we encourage you to apply!
