Packaging Operator – 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri | 8-Hour Shifts) 3pm to 11:30pm Pay Rate: $23.27-$26.63 per hour Location: Philadelphia, PA About the Role We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will support daily packaging operations by ensuring accurate line setup, monitoring material flow, performing inspections, and upholding all quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys hands-on work during afternoon and evening hours. What You’ll Do • Perform routine operating tasks under direct supervision • Complete packaging activities that support efficient, smooth equipment operation • Perform visual product inspections in 35-minute intervals • Monitor and replenish materials to maintain continuous workflow • Assist with equipment setup and perform thorough line clean-ups per GMP standards • Take proactive steps to reduce downtime and ensure steady production • Follow all regulatory, quality, and safety procedures • Review daily production schedules and monitor scrap levels and equipment performance • Communicate schedule-impacting issues promptly • Complete required training assignments and maintain compliance certifications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, etc.) • Participate in ongoing training • Work overtime as needed • Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to successfully complete required training and certification • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work in a regulated environment Preferred Qualities • Punctual, dependable, and professional • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting Additional Requirements • Must meet all PPE and appearance standards (no makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, or eyelash extensions) • Must meet vision requirements: 20/40 vision or better, standard depth and color perception (prescription glasses allowed) • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work occasional overtime Why You’ll Love Working Here • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule • Stable 2nd shift hours • Professional environment with clear training and development opportunities • Supportive team culture If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a strong production team, we encourage you to apply!
