Packaging Operator – 1st Shift (Mon–Fri | 8-Hour Shifts) 7am to 3:30 pm Pay Rate: $21.15- $24.21 Location: Philadelphia, PA About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our team. In this role, you will support daily packaging operations by ensuring proper line setup, monitoring material flow, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and a stable weekday schedule. What You’ll Do • Perform routine operating tasks under direct supervision • Support packaging equipment by completing required activities safely and on time • Conduct visual product inspections in 35-minute intervals • Monitor and retrieve materials to maintain efficient workflow • Assist with line setup and perform thorough line clean-ups following GMP guidelines • Take proactive steps to minimize downtime and equipment interruptions • Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality procedures • Review daily packaging schedules, track scrap levels, and escalate issues as needed • Communicate any events that may affect production schedules • Ensure all on-the-job training requirements are completed • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, etc.) • Participate in all required training • Work overtime as needed • Perform additional tasks as assigned What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to successfully complete required training and certification • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain compliance standards Preferred Qualities • Professional, punctual, and dependable • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a structured environment Additional Requirements • Must meet all PPE and appearance guidelines (no makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, or eyelash extensions) • Must meet vision requirements: 20/40 vision or better, standard depth and color perception (prescription glasses are acceptable) • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work occasional overtime Why You’ll Love Working Here • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule • Stable 8-hour workdays • Opportunities for training, growth, and cross-functional exposure • Supportive team environment in a professional, quality-driven setting If you’re dependable, detail-focused, and ready to contribute to a high-performing production team, we’d love to hear from you!
