Leading and building a React/fullstack engineering team, recruiting top talent, and managing product development.
Experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers, hands-on React or fullstack development, and proven ability to recruit and build teams in a fast-paced environment.
MUST HAVE • 3+ years Hands-on people management experience - hiring/firing/raise/promotion responsibilities and managed 5+ engineers previously (leading a larger team under another people manager is not sufficient) • Leading either fullstack team (ideally react) or developer tool products - must be technically strong enough to attract and earn respect of the FAANG level react engineers. • Experience developing and improving React (vs using React) or has led a Fullstack team • This is a org/team builder role (the current team are from FANG level companies and top ranked universities and open source contributors). • Must be very strong in recruiting, team building, and project management and delivery. • Led product development team at a technology company building software products • Seeking scope for recruiting and org building STRONGLY PREFERRED • Worked at VC funded startups or top ranked University or opensource contributor. Fast moving startups or technology companies that have rapid product releases. • Experience with React / DevTools / Developer Platforms / JS ecosystem, or on a "Platform" team within a 100+ person tech company • Worked on any developer platform tools (example: pager duty, docker, segment), not company internal tools (like helping marketing/sales/support with reports) • 0pen source contributor • Located in Bay Area
