We are currently strengthening our systems and team structure and are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to serve as a core in-store anchor for order processing and customer support. This is not a high-pressure sales role. It is a structured, customer-facing operations role focused on accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through. Position Overview The Order & Customer Support Specialist is responsible for managing in-store customer transactions, processing orders accurately, maintaining clean financial records, and supporting customers with professionalism and care. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with digital systems, and consistent in-person attendance. We are seeking someone who values stability and wants to grow with a local business long-term. Core Responsibilities Order Processing & POS • Process in-store orders using Shopify POS • Handle cash, credit card payments, and daily reconciliation • Prepare and process invoices accurately • Maintain organized transaction records • Communicate order details clearly to warehouse staff Customer Support • Greet customers professionally and make assistance available • Guide customers through product selection when needed • Educate customers on basic hay and nutrition information (training provided) • Complete customer call sheets to gather accurate horse and farm information • Maintain updated customer profiles in internal systems Administrative Support • Enter and maintain accurate digital records • Assist with tracking weights, damages, and documentation • Support inventory accuracy and product organization • Follow established procedures and standardized workflows Qualifications Required: • Strong attention to detail • Experience with POS systems • Comfort using digital systems and learning new software • Ability to handle cash and reconcile transactions accurately • Professional communication skills • Reliable, consistent in-person attendance • Ability to work Saturdays -This role includes rotating weekend coverage as part of the team schedule. Preferred • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms • Experience with invoicing or order entry • Background in agriculture, equine, or farm-related environments • Experience in retail operations or administrative roles Work Structure This is an in-person position located in Campobello, SC. Saturday availability is required. This role includes rotating weekend coverage as part of the team schedule. Consistent weekly attendance is essential. We are open to both part-time (30 hours) and full-time (35–40 hours) candidates depending on experience and availability.
