As our iOS Engineer, you’ll build and deploy systems that already protect some of the world’s highest-stakes teams — from decision-makers to elite market-movers and frontline journalists, to chart-topping artists, record-breaking athletes, and history-bending scientists. Your firmware will defend people in real-world environments you may never discuss, but never forget. Innovation Ground-Zero – Push the frontier of embedded systems, RF sensing, spatial intelligence, IoT hardware, and on-device AI. You’ll invent net-new capabilities, not just iterate. Founding Ownership – Join the first ten engineers. Shape culture, engineering standards, architecture, and the hardware foundations that keep humans in control of autonomous machines. What You’ll Do Build mission-critical, high-performance iOS systems using Swift, ARKit, UIKit, and SwiftUI. Develop scalable, maintainable solutions leveraging robust design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER). Integrate advanced sensors, location-based services, and AI for real-time threat detection and defense. Own the iOS user experience end-to-end — from rough concepts and rapid prototypes to polished interfaces and fluid animations. Implement rigorous testing (XCTest), automation, and continuous deployment pipelines. Optimize relentlessly for speed, reliability, and exceptional user experience. Directly engage elite users—expect about 10% global travel. Must-Have Mastery in Swift and Objective-C; deep understanding of Human Interface Guidelines and performance optimization. 5+ years shipping robust, production-grade iOS applications. Startup urgency: Independent, accountable, relentless execution. U.S. Person status required (may involve export-controlled data). Nice-to-Have Working ability with Figma (prototyping interactions, not full-time design). Experience with ARKit, Metal shading, Combine, Accessibility and spatial computing technologies. Proven record optimizing iOS performance under demanding conditions. Code-quality obsession (SonarQube or similar). Localization/multi-language support for global deployments Compensation Base salary for this position is up to $190,000 annually, depending on your qualifications, experience, and impact.
