Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Represents facility & property services as a highly experienced professional in the acquisition, disposition and management of real estate assets of affiliates, including the management of lease, purchase and sale transactions, oversight of property management and the performance of real estate analysis and real property transactions. Provides oversight and guidance to other department and affiliate personnel regarding lease administration, acquisition, disposition, asset management and information management for properties leased by Sutter Health and its affiliates as a tenant and properties owned by Sutter Health and its affiliates as landlord. Responsible for consulting with and recommending to Sutter Health and affiliate executive management teams regarding the management, acquisition or disposition of real property assets. Educates and informs affiliate leadership with regard to Sutter Health policies and procedures relating to real estate acquisition and disposition. Job Description: EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. • Bachelor's: Real Estate, Finance, Business, or other closely related field TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: • 8 years of recent relevant experience. • CA Real Estate License preferred SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: • Ability to understand the business need for each project and make on-going decisions based on the best results for the company. • Ability to anticipate upcoming problems and thereby avoiding them to preserve the project’s intent, schedule and budget. • Ability to work with diversified user groups. • Site acquisition and lease negotiation techniques, real estate information management, asset management, property management, solid understanding of real estate practice, construction and building codes, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. • Negotiation skills. • Skilled in prioritization and timely completion of projects. • Written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prepare and analyze complex and detailed financial analyses. Pay Range is $66.77 to $100.16 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
