Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Bay Position Overview: Leads enterprise service line marketing strategy and serves as the primary marketing partner to Sutter Health’s service line leaders, translating growth priorities into integrated, measurable marketing plans. Owns end-to-end go-to-market planning for assigned service lines—including positioning, audience strategy, messaging and campaign roadmap—while partnering with internal media and analytics teams to define the optimal channel mix and performance goals. Coordinates cross-functionally with brand, content, web, social, digital, marketing operations, communications and experience partners to develop and execute campaigns that align to enterprise standards and deliver a consistent, high-quality patient experience. Provides consultative leadership, ensures campaign excellence and stakeholder alignment, and uses insights and results to continuously optimize strategies, improve outcomes and strengthen enterprise service line partnerships. Job Description: EDUCATION: • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. • Bachelor's: Business Administration, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: • 12 years recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: • Deep understanding of the quickly-evolving digital marketing space, including knowledge of the online media space with regard to healthcare products/services, unique issues in healthcare marketing, and effective digital solutions. • Expert financial understanding of the coordinated efforts of a multimodal digital solution and publishing enterprise that includes a working knowledge of consumer life-cycles and purchasing behavior. • Working familiarity with segmentation, influencer marketing, and online behavioral advertising, including a deep understanding of marketing best practices and implementation strategy framework. • High degree of understanding and knowledge regarding online ad exchanges, google analytics or other web analytics systems, as well as an knowledge of web design and html web development. • Business acumen and exceptional analytic skills with the proven ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems and to meet customer-driven business objectives. • Advanced knowledge of digital and traditional marketing, business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B), communications planning, graphic standards, corporate identity management and internet/mobile publishing. • Working knowledge of selecting/hiring third-party talent for creative services, graphic design and production, publication development and management, market research and advertising. • Project management skills including: conceptualization, analysis, planning resources, managing milestones and objectives and responsibility for overall project, content and campaign success. • Highly seasoned analytic skills to determine organizational needs and the ability to develop effective strategic digital marketing and communication plans that achieve the functional objectives for the enterprise. • Exceptional professional writing and editing skills; spokesperson skills with the ability to articulate a vision while exhibiting a positive public speaking presence • Expert skill in optimizing all forms of digital communications: email, search marketing, online ads, SEO, retargeting, sponsored posts, website, landing pages, CRM and lead management systems. • Solid budget and finance skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with external agencies and organizations • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; conversant in Access, Visio, data management, and statistical analysis software. • Ability to: ▪ synthesize information and ideas across a variety of subject matter areas and to create plans that generate an engaging and positive reader experience across product/service lines ▪ evaluate innovative graphic design and advertising proposals, craft persuasive messaging and analyze market research, preferably in a healthcare setting ▪ identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems by leveraging the appropriate internal/external resources. ▪ energize, mobilize, and influence by fostering productive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external constituencies, including the effective management of resources. Pay Range is $183,643.20 to $293,841.60 / annual salary. Sacramento Pay Range is $161,616.00 to $258,585.60 / annual salary. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
