Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Bay Position Overview: Lead business development efforts to bring Sutter Health’s cutting-edge digital and clinical innovations to market. Responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with external partners, including employers, health systems, payers, and other organizations to expand access to Sutter-developed solutions. In addition to driving go-to-market strategies and revenue growth for a portfolio of innovative solutions designed to improve health outcomes for target populations, plays a key role in shaping the organization’s overall product delivery methodology. This includes building, maintaining, and optimizing implementation, account management, marketing, sales, and sales operations approaches, while overseeing a multidisciplinary team working across these functions. Is a strategic leader with experience building customer delivery and success programs that ensure lasting value and measurable impact for partners and populations served. We expect strong demand for the solutions we’re bringing to market, but our priority is leaders who, while experienced in sales, are primarily focused on building a scalable customer success, implementation, and delivery organization. Because of this emphasis, the role does not include variable compensation tied to sales as is typical for sales leaders. Instead, we want the focus to remain on delivery excellence, with sales viewed as a natural outcome of doing that well. Job Description: EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. • Bachelor’s degree TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: • 10 years recent relevant experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Demonstrated experience building delivery programs from the ground up in a healthcare or digital health setting, with measurable outcomes tied to adoption and scale. • Proven ability to design repeatable implementation methodologies that can scale across multiple clients or regions. • Track record of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales and implementation processes, particularly in health systems or payer organizations • Deep working knowledge of Epic, healthcare IT, and value-based care/population health SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: • Sales or account management experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent experience building customer-focused implementation and success programs. • Experience leading and building strong multidisciplinary sales teams with experience overseeing business development, sales, sales engineering, sales operations, and account management. • Experience overseeing implementations of complex software and services solutions. • Proven track record of business-to-business sales or business development in healthcare, digital health, or related technology fields. • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, employer health benefits, and the digital health ecosystem (RPM, EHR integrations, patient engagement solutions). • Experience structuring partnerships, licensing agreements, and/or distribution channels for healthcare products or services. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with C-suite and senior-level decision-makers. • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, clinical, and operational teams to shape market-ready solutions. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in an evolving, innovation-focused environment. Pay Range is $88.29 to $141.27 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. ​
